Every raffle on this site is run by the Palmetto High School Athletic Boosters, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Half of every 50/50 pot goes to one winner — the other half goes straight to Tiger athletics.

Playing in four steps

Create a free account

Your tickets live in your account — you can see your exact numbers any time at My Tickets, and we email them to you too. All we need is your name and email.

Pick a raffle and grab tickets

The homepage lists every open raffle — weekly 50/50s, season-long jackpots, and prize raffles. Bigger packs cost less per ticket. Payment is handled securely by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Get your ticket numbers instantly

The moment your payment clears you're issued sequential ticket numbers for that raffle — shown on screen, emailed as a receipt, and saved in your account. Every ticket has exactly one entry in the drawing.

Watch the drawing live

Each raffle page shows the drawing time. Drawings stream on Tigervision and on this site's live drawing page — you'll see the winning number revealed in real time. Winners are also emailed directly and posted on the Winners page, so you can't miss a win.

What happens with the money (50/50 raffles)

A 50/50 raffle is exactly what it sounds like: all ticket sales go into one pot, and the winner takes half. The other half funds Palmetto High School athletic programs — equipment, travel, facilities, and everything else our student athletes need.

Some raffles advertise a guaranteed minimum jackpot. That means the Boosters have put up the guarantee themselves: if ticket sales are low, the winner still gets the full advertised amount, no matter what.

How the winner is picked — and why it's fair

The winning ticket is selected by a cryptographically secure random number generator — the same class of randomness used in security software — across every valid ticket in the raffle. Every ticket, purchased or free, has an identical chance.

The on-screen spinning animation is just for show: the result is locked in on our servers the moment the drawing starts, before the animation plays, and a permanent audit record is kept of every drawing. No one — including the operators — can influence or re-run a drawing.

Winners are announced by ticket number plus first name and last initial. Full winner details are never published.

Free entry — no purchase necessary

You never have to buy anything to enter. Use the free entry form (one free entry per raffle per day) or mail in an entry card — instructions are on that page. Free entries receive real ticket numbers with exactly the same odds as purchased tickets, in the same drawing.

Winning

If your ticket is drawn, you'll get an email with claim instructions, your account will show the win, and the result appears on the Winners page. Cash prizes are paid by the Boosters; physical prizes are arranged for pickup at the school. You don't need to be present (or watching) to win.
